Andreas Winiarski is an entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor operating at the intersection of capital, technology and power.

For nearly three dacades, he has advised founders, boards and investors in success-critical situations that materially influence enterprise value. He helps companies attract capital, define strategic positioning and market architecture, and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Throughout his career, he has contributed to raising more than 7.4 billion US Dollars in capital, supported multiple IPOs and helped scale numerous international technology companies, including 25 multi-billion-dollar unicorns.

As strategic advisor and former long-standing Managing Director RCKT and SVP Global Communications at Rocket Internet SE, Andreas shaped the capital markets positioning and strategic narrative of 500+ high-growth companies across Europe, United States, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia and Australia. Today, he operates independently through his boutique advisory firm andwin Ltd., serving as a trusted board-level advisor and second opinion to founders, private equity funds and growth-stage companies.

Andreas is also a serial founder. He built and led awesome capital Group, a China-focused technology equity fund later acquired by Pyfore Capital, founded the creative agency RCKT, which was later exited to Dentsu, and founded his boutique advisory andwin Ltd. In addition to his entrepreneurial and advisory work, Andreas has served as Chairman ad interim, Vice Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of Hapimag AG, Switzerland.

He previously held a Managing Partner role at Earlybird Venture Capital, one of the largest European early-stage funds with 2.5 billion Euros assets under management. Andreas also served as Managing Partner at Hering Schuppener, which is now part of FGS Global, the largest and most admired strategic communications advisory firm of the world. He began his professional career at Axel Springer SE as a Spokesperson to the CEO and in the Chief Editorial Staff of BILD, Europe's largest newspaper by circulation.

Over many years, Andreas has held several senior advisory roles to leading German political leaders, including more than twelve years as a member of the advisory council of c-netz, the digital policy think tank of the governing party CDU and its Chancellors Dr. Friedrich Merz and previously Dr. Angela Merkel.

He maintains a long-standing passion for classical music and is a member of the Friends of the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Ballet & Opera London, and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. He is also a member of Chatham House, London. He is a frequent contributor to leading business media.

Andreas holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Berlin School of Economics and a Master’s degree from the Free University of Berlin. Andreas descends from the Berlin Koepjohann family. Johann Friedrich Koepjohann was among the leading entrepreneurs of 18th-century Prussia. The foundation bearing his name, one of Berlin’s oldest charitable foundations, has supported widows, orphans and those in need for more than 230 years and continues its work to this day, sustained by a vast real estate portfolio in the heart of the German capital.

MY CORE BELIEFS

I am economically and financially fully independent. No strings attached, no politics.

I like to advise by joining teams for a period of time on their journey forward, contributing my experience and skills — whatever it takes.

I always stick to the law and the truth. It is the easiest way to move fast and remember what matters.

I think holistically because I have seen the market from all sides — as a founder, VC partner, head of communications, journalist and advisor.

I operate as a one-man firm. I do not need to sell the time of others.I am fully entrepreneurial and flexible.

I enjoy working with the smartest minds — people who pursue excellence.

I think long term and invest in what I call and-win business relationships.
